In December 2009 wfp:2 bought the online-chess-community kingchess.de which was founded about 10 years ago. Around 800 users play chess on kingchess.de, approximately half of them are registered members of Kingchess.
Kingchess offers classic online-chess with tournaments, configurable personal and public invitations and a kingchess league for teamplay.
The community will be enhanced continiously, a first step will be a mobile version of Kingchess, allowing players to make their moves away from their desktops.
